Anyone else stark-raving crazy over the new Peter Pilotto for Kipling range?
The kaleidoscopic quality of the montage on galaxy-inspired imagesis really something quite special, and is done with such ease that it remains totally fashion forward, retaining just an element of ‘star-trek fever’ to satisfy the geek in all of us.
For an A/W range, the palette is refreshingly bright, the mystical feel of stardust transporting us to another realm.
If you choose to REALLY indulge the sci-fi nature of this trend…. there are even bum-bags, or as american’s fondly call them ‘fanny packs’ in a style echoing that of the early 90’s.
Personally, I am a much bigger fan of the larger totes…they just seem to make more of a statement (plus, I have that much rubbish in my bag that I NEED to have with me on a daily basis), whichever way…this print is certainly not one to hide & was seen used in all-in-one’s at Horace A/W 2010 earlier this year, alongside being a favourtie print of Christopher Kane’s. Snap them up soon, happy stargazing.
